2 Tim. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

But YHVH Meant It Unto Good

Genesis 50:15-23

And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him. And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying, So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him. And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them. And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father's house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years. And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation: the children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were brought up upon Joseph's knees.

While Abraham, Isaac and Jacob dwelled in Canaan though the land was promised to them as an inheritance they had not owned it or possessed it until after their descendants came forth out of Egypt and conquered Canaan. During the days of the patriarchs they only sojourned in the land of Canaan. In order to inherit the land they had to leave it.

Thus there was a time when YHVH allowed His people to dwell outside of the land after having sojourned there to “…save much people alive.” He also could not bring judgment to a people whose sins were yet in their seed which had not yet come forth. So says YHVH in Ezekiel 18:20, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” The iniquity of the Amorites was not yet full.

Joseph was cruelly sold into slavery weeping and wailing all along the way to Egypt in fear and disbelief of what was happening to him. He had no idea that YHVH had a hand in the direction his life was taking.

Genesis 15:13-14

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

It was already prophesied to Abraham that his descendants would serve another nation “…and afterwards they come out with great substance.” First they had to go to the other nation, that being Egypt, before they could come out of it.

Had the seventy souls stayed in Canaan they would have either died from the famine or their seed would have been polluted as the Canaanites were polluting themselves during those two hundred plus years when the Israelites were in Egypt.

Genesis 15:16

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

In this text YHVH is telling Abraham that the fullness of the iniquity of the Amorites was not yet to that point warranting absolute judgment. The word ‘iniquity’ is the Hebrew word ‘avon’ which means perversity, moral evil, mischief. YHVH said that the perversity was not yet completed. In other words, YHVH does not judge before the time. The Amorites and Canaanites had to fully complete their perversity or else YHVH would have judged them for something they did not do but would have done.

What was it that the Amorites and Canaanites were doing in the land that was so perverse that YHVH did not want His people exposed to? It was the corruption of their DNA, their seed.

Numbers 13:13

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

During the Israelites years in Egypt the Amorites, the people of the land of Canaan, were changing themselves from one kind into another kind.
YHVH took Israel out of the land first to save them from famine and secondly to preserve their DNA. It is the same ancient plot of the enemy to corrupt the DNA of the chosen bloodline so the Messiah could not come. This is why YHVH destroyed everything living in Genesis 6 in the flood and saved Noah a perfect man in his generation and his sons and their wives. The word ‘perfect’ in Hebrew is the word ‘tamiym’ which means without blemish. Noah was not polluted with fallen angelic DNA – he was 100% human. YHVH repopulates the earth again using Noah and his son’s pure human DNA thus Messiah’s bloodline was intact.

NOTE: There is a false doctrine that teaches that Cain is the son of Satan and Eve but you only need to read Genesis 4:1-2 to know that Cain is the son of Adam and Eve. “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” Remember that The Torah, The Law, The Pentateuch is Elohim’s spoken WORD and Moses wrote exactly as YHVH spoke. There is no error in these words PERIOD. YHVH said these words to Cain in Genesis 4:7, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” Cain was a man born of Adam and Eve and sin lieth crouching at his door, his heart, his mind trying to corrupt him. All he had to do was to resist it, have dominion over it. There was nothing wrong with Cain’s DNA only his heart. This false doctrine wants us to believe that among the seed of men there is a bloodline of Cain that created the races of giants. Genesis 4:26 tells us when the human race began to turn from YHVH. “And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” The words “began men” is ‘chalal’ which means to profane, defile, pollute, desecrate. The people began to desecrate the name of YHVH is the right rendering of this text. Genesis 6 tells us that the sons of God came down and mingled with the daughters of men and so there were giants in the land due to the mingling of their DNA. A new gene pool enters in. One thing followed another, first men desecrated the name of YHVH and then the angels descended. This is why YHVH destroyed the entire old world. We see this happening again today with introduction of GMOs and gene splicing and new breeds of animals like ligers and zonkeys, and even cloning etc. After the flood we know that Nimrod as written in Genesis 10 did something to alter himself. By Genesis 36 we have Anah finding mules in the wilderness. “The exact origin of the first mule is unknown, but we do know that the mule was deliberately bred by man in ancient times. The breeding of a jackass (male donkey) with a female horse (mare) is the most common and oldest known manmade hybrid.” http://www.columbiadailyherald.com/article/20120328/LIFESTYLE/303289941 Any introduction of new DNA did not come from Cain but from the fallen angels. By the time the Israelites came out of Egypt giants were the new normal in Canaan. I believe the Amorites being that close to the flood began to do what we do today, excavating to harvest DNA from the decomposed bodies of the flood. You only need to read science magazines and see that scientist is harvesting minuscule amounts of DNA from eons ago to recreate or reintroduce polluted DNA. The movie Jurassic Park should tell you something. People would accept a faulty Cain DNA over the DNA of fallen angels and demons. They want you to buy the lie by making it more human in nature. Remember what Genesis 3:15 states, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis chapters 1 through 5 speaks about her seed and Genesis 6 is Satan’s seed. Daniel 2:43 tells us “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” Daniel prophesied that the mingling of the iron, angelic DNA, will not cleave with the miry clay, human DNA in the end times. They will, are trying, but it will not cleave. Is this why we have reports of alien abductions and reports of impregnations and stealing of eggs from women who have been abducted? These are not aliens but fallen angels, demons trying to bring back their golden age. Remember in Daniel 2 the prophecy about the image, the head of gold, the arms and breast of silver, the belly and thighs of brass, the legs of iron and finally the feet mixed with iron and clay. This is the final kingdom before the end of days. When this fifth kingdom ends, the seed of the angels and man will be judged. Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” This age, the fifth, will end when Yeshua returns again to rule and reign for 1000 years, this will be the sixth kingdom. After this 1000 year period, 6th kingdom age, then the last battle as recorded in Revelation 20 will put an end to Satan and all the unrighteous. YHVH will set up His kingdom for all eternity. There will be no more firmament; His kingdom will come on earth as it is in heaven. This will be the beginning of the 7th and eternal age – our eternal Sabbath.

The Amorites in the land was altering their gene pool, their DNA was becoming polluted. This is what YHVH spared Jacob and His descendants from by sending them into Egypt. The famine was the catalyst to get them out, but Joseph had already gone down “… to save much people alive….” YHVH sent the famine which He warned Pharaoh about so that Israel will have reason to leave the land of Canaan and thus their lives would be saved and DNA unpolluted.

Sometimes we can’t see why certain things are happening and we blame YHVH for the worst of things not knowing He has orchestrated it. Why? Who wants to willingly abandon all they have worked for and established to escape a prophesied disaster especially if they don’t see it coming? We do not want to believe that in leaving everything behind we are saving our lives though our experiences might be difficult and the material loss is great. YHVH is able to restore the years the locust stole, and all the gold and silver is His and thus He can restore. Indeed, the latter shall be better than the former if we only obey and let go.

Archaeologists found that many inhabitants of Pompeii were buried alive holding onto their precious things. They had time to escape but instead returned to get what they could. These bodies were buried under layers of volcanic ash preserving their bodies and the items they were holding onto.

Remember the holocaust, many were warned that it was coming but they did not want to abandon their wealth and possessions to leave Europe and escape the evil of Hitler’s regime so they perished. Many were stripped of their jewels and money when they arrived in the concentration camps having their wealth sewn into their clothes.

Even in this modern age we see many who put their lives in danger riding out floods, hurricanes, storms, fires and other natural disasters hoping to save what material things they have. They have no clue that what YHVH allows to happen might be to save their lives from something worst.

It was this way with Israel and thus for over two hundred years they served Egypt. But when they came out they came with all the wealth of the land.

I think of Darfur and how the Arabs stole the land of those that might very well be True Israelites and drove them south and scattered them further throughout the nations of the earth as refugees. How devastating this has been but can it be that in modern times YHVH is moving His people out of harm’s way? Can it be that when the people lack wise men in the land, where there are no prophets and no sons of Issachar to tell them what to do that YHVH must take other measures to move His people out?

NOTE: How did Japheth enter the tents of Shem? (Read commentaries: True Israel – Not Wiped out, Not Replaced, Not Forgotten; Not Out of the Ashes But Out Of The Nations; The Ashkenazi Thread, etc. on catchthewaveministries.wordpress.com Blog) First they had to convert to Judaism and then suffer in some ways as True Israelites so that they and others would believe they are Israelites. Look how much time passed before their settled in The Land. The past had to be forgotten so that they believe the lie. Only time could bring all this to pass. Then they having no other place to turn to they ran to The Land thinking they have a right to it. It had to be so.

Genesis 9:27

God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Enlarge – ‘pathah’ meaning to open, make roomy, to be spacious, also mean in a sinister way delude, allure, deceive, entice, flatter, persuade

Dwell – ‘shakan’ the idea of lodging, to reside, permanently stay, abide, have habitation, set up, to settle down to abide, establish

Tents – ‘ohel’ a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance) covering, dwelling, tabernacle, nomad’s tent and thus symbolic of wilderness life, transience

Japheth will be enlarged, deceived, deluded and allured into thinking they are true Israelites and they are not. Japheth will dwell, settle in the land that belongs to Shem and shall convert to Shem’s faith that being Abraham’s faith in YHVH thus dwelling in Shem’s tabernacle.

Genesis 10:2-5

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

All these things had to come to pass for the word of YHVH to be fulfilled.

Here in Genesis 10:3 we read that Ashkenaz is of the Gentiles.
True Israelites have also forgotten their history. Not only have they forgotten who they are but if you take a close look at the description of Israel scattered in the nations you will know who they are. Read Deuteronomy 28. Since True Israel will not be gathered in until Yeshua returns we know that they are in the midst of the curses not the blessings. Thus we must identify them by the descriptions of the curses.

Joseph was the one who suffered for years so that when the appointed time came he would be in position to enter the palace. He had no idea until the famine came that YHVH’s intention was for him to save his people. When Jacob died Joseph told his brothers this much. “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

There is a reason why an African American is in the British palace. It was under that kingdom that True Israel was enslaved. The scepter will be extended to her.

The Arabs thought it evil against the Darfurians but YHVH surely meant it for good. The coming battle is not for True Israel to fight but for those settlers in the land. YHVH is moving His people out of the way. I am sure that an atomic weapon will be used to annihilate the nations that come against Jerusalem. The after effects will be far-reaching.

Zachariah 14:12-13

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

This plague that comes upon the nations that fought (Note: fought in Hebrew is ‘tsaba’ to mass an army) against Jerusalem is a description of what happens when an atomic bomb is used. We have records of this from Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Chernobyl. The flesh consuming away literally means to melt away. Even the deformities will flourish during those days. Israel cannot approach YHVH if they are lame and diseased.

YHVH is removing His people far from the destruction of the battle of the nations that will come up against Jerusalem. Who shall believe this report? The refugees that are currently in The Land who are being forced out, surely this action is not meant by YHVH for evil against them. Surely it is for to save their lives. Even the current government there is offering them a good deal of money to leave and this is like in the days of Egypt when the Egyptians gave the Israelites their wealth to leave the land.

Yes, I am saying take it and leave. Make good of it when you go to the place YHVH will send you to. Don’t squander it. Use it to get an education, to build schools and hospitals and businesses that will support you and your fellow refugees while you wait in strange lands until the fulfillment of prophesy.

Perhaps this message is for those settlers in The Land that has found Messiah and knows the truth and desires to live and not die. Perhaps they will heed the warning and make ready to leave. The word is not just for True Israel but also for anyone that come to Messiah through faith – the church. You can either leave now fleeing the judgment to come or you can stay and be caught in the middle. History has a way of repeating.

Ezekiel 38:18-23

And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

This is what those who remain in the land will be caught up in. Who will believe this report? The judgment to come will be far reaching. The host of Gog and Magog and all the nations that come up against Jerusalem will be spread far and wide. There will be millions who will lose their lives. The blast from the destruction to come will reach far into the adjoining nations. The radiation affects will be far reaching. It will affect both the people that fought against Jerusalem and their animals which are in their encampments.

Zechariah 14:12

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Zechariah 14:15

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

It is this destruction and after affects YHVH’s is shielding His people from by keeping them in far countries.

NOTE: This is not the last battle on earth. This is the battle of the nations against Jerusalem. Gog and Magog are the kingdoms of men – these are the ancient human kingdoms mentioned in the Bible that will rise again. This battle will occur at the end of the great tribulation and then Messiah will return to rule and reign for 1000 years. During this time Satan will be bound. At the end of the 1000 year Satan will be loose and he will gather Gog and Magog which now will be the kingdoms of the fallen angels and some men will rally with them. This will be the last battle and in this case fire and brimstone will rain down from heaven and destroy them all. I am working on this commentary based on the last battle. Read Revelation 20.

Go back and read the commentary entitled Stop Looking at Man and Read the Bible to know what to do when this devastation comes whatever it might be.

Exodus 12:13

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Just as the Israelites were shielded during the last plague in Egypt by putting the blood of the sacrifice lamb upon the door post the church will also be spared if they apply the blood of Yeshua upon their hearts. As it was in the beginning so shall to be in the end. As death passed over the Israelites abode then so will it pass over the dwelling of every believer in that time to come. This goes for Jew and Gentile alike who comes to Yeshua by faith. Yeshua is the light of the world and it is by His light that we trim our lamps – He is the way, the truth and the life.

So what will happen to those True Israelites who live through the battle of the nations but did not believe Yeshua to be their Messiah?

Zechariah 10:8-10

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.

Read this passage with the definitions below and see that YHVH will signal to His people in far off countries so they will remember who they are. He will show them that they were kept there to be preserved. While they are in those far off countries they are to continue to live and to multiply. When they receive the signal they will remember who they are and turn again with their children back to YHVH. This does not happen in The Land but in far off countries where YHVH has placed them to preserve their lives.

Hiss – sharaq, to whistle (as a call, as a signal)

Gather – qabats, to grasp, collect, assemble

Redeem – padah, to sever, ransom, preserve, deliver

Increase – rabah, abundance, enlarge, become many

Sow – zera, to disseminate, plant, scatter sow, to become pregnant

People – a people, nation

Remember – zakar, to mark (so as to be recognized), recall, to be brought to remembrance

Far countries – merchaq, remoteness, a distant place, from afar

Live- chayah, keep alive, remain alive

Children – ben, son, grandson, child, member of a group

Turn again- shuwb, to turn back, the idea of return to the starting point, come or go back to

Who will believe this report?

YHVH will call for them from out of the nations; they will hear, recognize His call and they will respond. They will turn back to YHVH whom they despised and forsook. They will remember who they are and why they were scattered. They will come with their children out of the land of Egypt. Egypt is the continent of Africa and a metaphor for how Egypt treated them when they were slaves there. Assyria is that nation that first scattered the northern kingdom into all its conquered lands. Not only did Assyria take the people out of the land of their inheritance but they assimilated them into the people groups of its empire.

You recall how the Samaritans came to be. These were true Israelites that remained in the land after Assyria took them captive. The Assyrian empire then took others from other parts of its empire and intermixed them with the Jews left in the land and they inter mingled – half Jew half Gentile.

This is what Assyria did to the True Israelites throughout its empire. This is why Yeshua found a need to go to Samaria and preach the gospel to the woman at the well. Not one grain will fall to the earth. If you look at the migration of people in Africa you will see that they began from the Edge of the Assyrian Empire and migrated westward and southward throughout all of Africa. This migration would still preserve a purebred Israelite race in Africa. Those that migrated throughout what would become the Babylonia and Persian Empire would have been deposited in groups that would have allowed them to maintain their racial identity.

The Assyrians mingled or scattered abroad the seeds of captivity if you will. There is no better way to hide something than among a similar kind. The Babylonians and Persian displaced the populations to another place intact. YHVH says He will hiss for his people who will recognize the sound of His whistle and they will respond and return. He said that not one grain will fall to the earth. Those that remain intact as a people’s group will be gathered and those that were intermingled, even if it is one drop of DNA remaining, they will hear and respond. The woman at the well was a grain. Thus from Africa to Assyria they will come. Remember that the Babylonian captives were allowed to return after seventy years. Not all returned but the remnant will be gathered back during the time of Yeshua’s reign.

The stage is being set but how long it will take no one knows. Even Yeshua said not even the angels in heaven knows the time of His return. But we know that at the end of the seven years appointed for the tribulation He will come again. Yeshua also said that the time will be shortened for the sake of His elect, True Israel. We can gather from this report that when that time comes it will happen without warning - suddenly. As in Noah’s days the flood came and no one believed his report that it was coming until the doors of the Ark were shut.

Noah preached 120 years before the flood came. Joseph was in Egypt 12 years before he was called before Pharaoh and another seven years during the years of plenty. Esther was in position 5 years before her ‘such a time as this.” Daniel was two years before his first “such a time as this.”

How long will you take before positioning yourself to be saved? Yeshua said suddenly. Who will be caught behind the lines with no way of escape?

Matthew 24:15-22

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Yes, many will be caught off guard. Yeshua tells us what sign to look for to know when the time is upon us. He speaks about the Sabbath and the winter both times signifying times of preparation. No one can work on the Sabbath so they must prepare beforehand. Even the animals prepare for the winter months by gathering their food ahead of the time. Who will believe this report? Who will make ready? “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” Suddenly and in rapid succession!

We also know that for the battle of the nations to happen all nations on the earth must be united. There will be no dictators or republics or monarchies that will be left out. All will be engaged in this battle. Zachariah 14:16 tells us, “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” The world will become united and every stronghold must come down. It is no strange thing that North Korea is seeking inclusion. All the nations of the earth will be one in this battle against Jerusalem. Resources will be pooled and some great cataclysmic or disaster will occur to unite all nations against Jerusalem. Who knows what maybe Israel will unleash upon the world in anticipation of defending its self and bringing about this battle. Remember, the inhabitants of the land are not True Israelites, they have been deceived to believe they are and that the world is against them and that they must defend themselves. The church has added to this deception telling Israel, the people that have settled the land, that they have a right to defend themselves. YHVH told Israel that He will fight for her, not by might nor by Israel’s power but by YHVH’s Spirit. The battle is the LORD’s.

The church not knowing the truth has a hand it bringing all this to pass. The church is pressuring Israel to defend its self at all cost. The church is raising millions of dollars in support of this people in the land to build homes and infrastructure being also deceived. This deception comes for the lack of knowledge in the seminaries. The church has convinced this people that they can win at all cost because YHVH is on their side so they declare and decree over the people who have settled in the land as Jews and are not. This will cause the world to persecute the church. Many are putting million into Israel’s military and security systems. They are of the synagogue of Satan because they are following his agenda. They church thinks it is doing YHVH a favor.

This is a report for the church and for True Israel. Who will believe it? We are living in the days of sophisticated technology and think that we can survive anything including death. But something will happen to darken the sun and cause the moon to cease from giving light. Technology will fail and so we will have to revert back to horses and chariots.

Joel 3:9-12

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

Humanity will revert back to antiquated weapons because something will hinder or block their sophisticated technology from working. Something significant will happen in Jerusalem that will cause most of the nations to assemble themselves against Jerusalem and those that dwell in the land. Israel is the most technologically advanced nations in the world. It has security systems in place that we cannot even imagine. This battle is not about oil but about something else that will have an enormous impact on the earth. Too much power in one hand is much too much. Israel has a great deal of power, enough to cause others to fear whether that fear is real or not.

These things must come to pass because YHVH spoke them to the prophets and they recorded them as something that will happen in the future. It will come to pass.

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Isaiah 14:27

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Isaiah 55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Yes, these things will happen because YHVH declares them to be so. Thus we know that he does nothing without first telling His prophets. What is happening to True Israel now is so that YHVH can preserve them. It is not meant for evil. Let YHVH preserve you. Even for the church this is the time of warning to get right and turn again back to Messiah.

Nothing is happening that is not meant to happen. YHVH is signaling for the church and True Israel to get out of harm’s way. YHVH is also hissing, signaling to us to make ready. True Israel has endured this long, but just a while longer and we shall see the mighty hands of YHVH on behalf of His people and the church of Yeshua.

These are the years of sifting the wheat which is the church. The church is on the threshing floor. Let YHVH remove the chaff and the leaven. Let Him purge you through the fire so that you will be purified. Even to those that are of the house of Japheth who have found Messiah, come out from amongst them. Revelation 2:9b says, “…and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Heed the warning!

There is truth in the word of YHVH. Japheth is in the land because they have a part to play.

Read the message from Messiah to the seven churches in Revelations 2-3. These are all signs of the churches in the end times. A remnant will come from both the church and True Israel. The works of the seven churches will be evident in the last days.

May the Holy Spirit open your eyes and give you understanding. If you don’t care to prepare yourselves then at least do it for your children and children’s children. We do not know which generation will see these prophecies come to pass. Remember Daniel’s prophecies were shut up for a time.

Daniel 12:5-12

Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

How long has it been since Daniel penned these words? This shall not happen until YHVH has “accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people.” In other words, not until True Israel cease from moving about in the earth scattered as refugees, fleeing the atrocities of nations. As much as the gospel must be spread throughout the ends of the earth before the end comes so must we look to the conclusion of True Israel being scattered yet staying put where they are among the nations.

Both the fullness of the Gentiles as spoken of in Romans 11:25 and the end of True Israel being scattered as spoken of in Daniel 12:7b will occur at the same time. Following this we will see Daniel’s prophecy of the “abomination that maketh desolate” and from that point marks the beginning of the last three and a half years of the great tribulation that will culminate with the battle of the nations against Jerusalem.

Babylon will be destroyed and Messiah will return with His chosen 144,000 and the saints which are the church will be included. Those that have been purified and turn to Yeshua who remain alive when Messiah returns will be caught up with Him. They will return with Messiah to establish His 1000 year kingdom on the earth. You can read more in-depth studies about this in the commentary entitled ‘How The Remnant Shall Return’, ‘The 144,000 Redeemed Israelites’ and other commentaries posted on the blog: catchthewaveministries.wordpress.com

What is happening to True Israel still at this current time is not meant for evil but for their good. YHVH will bless those that bless True Israel and curse those that cruse True Israel. Surely, those who recognize who True Israel is and help her will be blessed but those who continue to oppress YHVH’s people will receive due judgment upon their own heads.

Isaiah 16:3-4

Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; betray not him that wandereth. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

Yes, YHVH has hidden His children, His people, True Israel among the heathens and He bids them to hid His outcast, those that wander from nation to nation, He bids them, counsels them, to let the remnant of True Israel dwell with them. He tells them to be covert, hide them, and keep them in secrecy from the face of those that will destroy them. This is true for any nation or people who will not betray those who are True Israelites hidden within in their nations.

The Moabites were the cousins of Israel being descendants of Lot’s sons. So YHVH tells the next of kin not to betray His people. If True Israel has assimilated in your society then YHVH is saying don’t betray them as we see happening today. Discrimination of True Israel is rampant in our world today.

The good that is done for True Israel might be paid forward at such a time as you know not when. What I know is that you know what it is that you are doing to oppress these people in your land; you know your discrimination and your acts of willful disregard for their humanity. You know the squalor you have forced them to dwell in and you know the quality of life you have denied them. You also know the proverbs you speak against them.

True Israel is hidden away for their own good, for to save their lives so that at the return of Yeshua they might be gathered in. YHVH will deal with each nation, people and individuals that harasses His People while they were in The Land and in the nations. “LET MINE OUTCAST DWELL WITH THEE.”

Once I was blind but now I see.

Let me encourage you to study the word:

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

I Chronicles 12:32

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

Acts 17:10-11

And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Reading the word is not enough but you must give yourself over to studying the word for wisdom and understanding. How will you know what the truth is when it is presented to you if you do not study? Many will be deceived because they have not studied and just fell for the deception of articulate, charismatic speakers.

Everything you read even those that are extra biblical text must be sift through the 66 books of the Bible. Remember that the devil has been at this for eons of time. He invested a great deal of time establishing a false history and false religions so when our days come we will not know the truth from fiction. The Bible is our filter. Yes many books are mentioned in the Bible that has not been included in our 66 books; there is no need to go beyond those. They should not add or take away from what has already been established in the 66 books.

Even if you don’t read those extra biblical books you can be sure that studying the Bible through the power and revelation of the Holy Spirit will reveal, unveil what is hidden but you must study. Even in studying the Holy Spirit will direct you to the books you need to read to get the full picture and He will guard your mind from foolish fables.

Yeshua tells us that the path is straight and narrow. There is no need to get off the narrow path to know the truth. Some believers feel it necessary to read and delve into pagan mysterious religions in order to understand the Bible. I disagree. What I can say is that when you read the bible and what the Bible recommends you read it will be enough. Salvation is based on faith in Yeshua by His shed blood for the remission of our sins. Your lack of studying will cause you to be deceived. Your lack of knowledge in the word will cause you to make choices that are detrimental to sustaining your faith in Messiah. Yeshua said many will be deceived meaning they will turn away from faith and thus fall under the spell of the enemy.

There is only one path to salvation as stated in Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” There are not many paths that lead to salvation as many foolish believers are saying, there is only one path. Buddha cannot lead you to YHVH. The path of Hinduism, Islam, nor any other religion cannot lead you to salvation. It is Yeshua only.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The world is moving toward a one world religion with the image of the beast as their object of worship. (Revelation 13:15) The Ecumenical movement in the church is not scriptural when different religions and beliefs depart from the truth of the Bible.

Look at the definition of ecumenical: “representing a number of different Christian churches. synonyms: nondenominational, universal, catholic, latitudinarian, all-embracing, all-inclusive. "the local churches are sponsoring an ecumenical service on the green." "ecumenical dialogue" promoting or relating to unity among the world's Christian churches."

https://www.google.com/search?q=definition+of+ecumenical

Let us be careful, the true body of Yeshua has no schism. What causes a schism but different views that are apart from the truth – the full truth causes us to have the same belief. “Two cannot walk together unless they agree.” The ‘true Church’ agrees on every level of truth. This is why the Holy Spirit was sent so that the ‘true Church’ will not be deceived. But the members of the body of Yeshua must study the Bible for the Holy Spirit to function in full power.

Studying the Bible will not only give you the truth but it will keep you safe and help you to know what to do in such a time. To know the truth of scripture does not mean you will be the most studied up, the most articulate, the most charismatic, the most knowledgeable or the most quotable or knowing the most references. It means you will know the truth and you will be set free.

I know that not everyone will receive this word but it is for whom it is for.

If you find truth in this post please forward to others.

Joy with the joy of YHVH

2 Tim. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Bible Does Not Say Israel Will Be A Nation In 1948

Matthew 24:32-36

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Many use this passage and similar passages to claim that it was prophesied that Israel would become a new nation in 1948 and the Jews would return to the land. We know that whatever the meaning of this reference to the fig tree is, in that generation, we should look for the return of Messiah. Does the interpretation of this text imply that Israel would be a nation again in 1948? According to this text the reference to the fig tree is actually about the season when we can expect Yeshua to return. This has nothing to do with Israel as a nation.

The fig tree is representative of a specific tree that is known particularly to bud at the beginning of the summer in Israel. The summer is the season in which one should look for the return of Yeshua. This mentioning of the fig tree has nothing to do with Israel as a people but rather it is about a specific fruit tree of the land which is known for its time of shooting forth. The very mention of the fig tree tells you much about what season we are in.

For example, the Biblical year begins with the first new moon after the barley is ripe in Israel. If the barley is ripe then the following new moon is Hodesh Ha-Aviv and if it is not ripe then they must wait another month before declaring a new year. It is the same with the sign of the fig tree putting forth leaves that would indicate summer is beginning. The emphasis is not the fig tree but rather on what time of year it shoots forth its leaves.

Luke 21:29-33

And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Again we have mention of a “fig tree, and all the trees” because we are being guided to take note of the fig tree and when it shoots forth in its season. Our attention is being drawn to all the trees that shoot forth at the same time as the fig tree. We are to make a distinction as to when they bud forth. “When they now shoot forth” is stated to draw our attention to when specific trees begin to bud forth in the summer at the same exact time as the fig tree. In other words, if you don’t see the fig tree but you see another tree that blooms or shoot forth its leaves at the exact same time each year, as the fig tree, you can still identify the season by this characteristic of those other trees.

I have read many scripture verses that have been cited claiming Israel is a fig tree and that it will be a nation in 1948. This is clearly not true. Many false or unlearnt Bible scholars’ makes this claim based on the mentioning of the fig tree. The Bible is clear that Israel is a ‘green olive tree.’ (See Psalms 52:8, Jeremiah 11:16, Romans 11) Let me discuss a prominent text in Jeremiah that is cited the most to claim Israel is a fig tree.

Jeremiah 24

The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Jeremiah was given a vision of two baskets to consider. The vision was a similitude of something that was happening in reality in Jeremiah’s time. First, note that the text cited in Jeremiah is not referring to Israel as a fig tree but as the fruits of the fig tree. There is a difference as Israel is actually referred to as an olive tree throughout the Bible as mentioned above. An olive tree is an olive and a fig tree is a fig tree thus an olive tree can’t produce figs and neither can figs produce olive berries.

James 3:12

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Let’s not mix fig and olives so to speak. The reference to figs in Jeremiah 24 is speaking about the maturity of the fruit and the time it comes into season – that being the summer time. Up to Jeremiah’s day Israel had been lead by judges, prophets and by kings and finally the last kingdom, the southern kingdom of Judah, is being taken into captivity. This is a nation that should have been mature in the law and keepers of the law but instead they were being plucked up and scattered. They should have been planted firmly by this time in their history. Israel is not a fig tree but only like the mature fruit on the tree which bears it fruit in due season. Israel is also referred to as the firstfruits which belong to YHVH. They were given a mandate to be holy and be that light to the heathen nations so those nations would come to see YHVH as the Most High Elohim and repent and return to Him.

The mature fig, rather than being harvested and eaten, it is being plucked up off the land and scattered. This is the image the Bible wants us to have. In the fullness of the harvest the figs are gathered and should be expected to be eaten but no, these figs are being scattered.

YHVH shows Jeremiah two baskets of figs, one basket having good figs and the other basket had very naughty figs. These two baskets were set before the temple of YHVH. This means the figs were gathered in Jerusalem where the temple was. This is where the figs originated from – in the land. It was the first fruit of the season. The first fruits are always presented to YHVH but instead these figs are taken into captivity.

We can make a quick comparison: in Jeremiah’s day the firstfruits of Israel were taken into captivity and in Yeshua’s day they were blinded.

In the text above the first basket of figs was taken captive into Babylon with their king the true heir to the throne of David, Jehoiachin.

The other basket had the naughty figs and could not be eaten – in other words these figs, also a tithe unto YHVH would not survive because they were naughty. We know that the tithe is to be eaten – a figure of speech here – presented to YHVH. The firstfruits, first ripe are holy unto YHVH.

Deuteronomy 14:22-23

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

The firstfruits of the land are from the fig tree meant to be offered up as a tithe. Yet this first basket of the firstfruits of Jerusalem is being sent into captivity for a specific time.

Hosea 9:10

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

You see the first ripe of Israel were shameful because of their idolatry and treatment of the orphans and widows. These who were holy unto YHVH had polluted themselves and the land. That verse in Hosea is not speaking about the tree but about the ‘first ripe’ fruit from one of the first producing fruit trees in the land, the fig tree. The figs from this first basket will be eaten, returned back to YHVH, at a later time upon their return to Jerusalem after their 70 years of captivity. In other words the tithe, or Israel as a tithe, will be acceptable upon their return to the land.

This is the law of YHVH as spoken to Moses in Deuteronomy 14:22-23. The tithe is to be eaten, consumed. Now in Jeremiah 24:2 it clearly states that the second basket of figs “...could not be eaten, they were so bad.” The reason this second basket of figs could not be eaten is because they refused to go with the figs of the first basket. This reference to figs implies that all the figs were the first fruits of the nation of Israel. All these figs were harvested at the same time, the first harvested.

YHVH told Jeremiah that Israel must to go into captivity but some went and others remained. The second basket of figs is not only naughty and can’t be eaten, presented to YHVH, because they are so very evil. They are willfully disobedient to YHVH. The first basket of figs is willing but the second basket of figs is disobedient on two levels which we will discuss later.

Let me speak about the baskets for a moment. Remember in Genesis 40 Joseph had the opportunity to interpret the dreams of two of the king’s officers. The baker had a dream about three baskets and here is what Joseph stated the interpretation of the baskets was.

Genesis 40:18

And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:

There is consistency in the word of YHVH. I believe YHVH is telling us that the events in this chapter is about what will occur in two days, or rather two different time periods. Remember that 1000 years is as a day to YHVH and a day as 1000 years. The figs in the first basket of good figs are occurring during the time of the Babylonian captivity. Even though we will see that this also refers to those who refused to go into captivity or stay put in the land we will see that it is also speaking about a time to come later on. I believe this second day to come in which this text is referring to will be the time of Messiah’s 1000 year reign.

Hear the words of YHVH clearly: “Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.” Do you hear YHVH’s words? My last commentary “YHVH Meant It Unto Good” speaks clearly about this very thing. When YHVH removes the people out of the land it is also for their own good. There are two purposes of this captivity and two separate occurrences referring to the two baskets and at two different times.

YHVH has not forgotten Israel; He will again acknowledge those that have been carried away captive throughout the earth even unto the four winds of the earth.

On the one hand YHVH must keep true to His covenant vows that if Israel sin they will be spewed out of the land. On the other hand YHVH uses the opportunity of taking Israel out of the land in order to preserve them – for their own good. This first basket of figs was being removed for the purpose of preserving the bloodline of True Israel from which the Messiah will come.

Now in this first basket taken away was Johiakim King of Judah who was the true heir to the throne. YHVH acknowledges the first basket of figs and they are good figs. Though the world wants to think that True Israel is evil in fact YHVH says they are good figs – good fruit. Remember all Israel had committed idolatry but YHVH removed those that were obedient to go into captivity of which He calls them ‘good figs’ - the obedient figs.

This remnant will return by decree of Cyrus after 70 years and so it was. Remember that those few that did stay in the land or returned during Nehemiah’s time married women from the surrounding nations and they had children with them. The people had begun to worship the idols of other nations and the next step would have been too intermarried with them. YHVH plucked them out to preserve them from this intermingling. Remember that it is from the tribe of Judah that the Messiah would come so the DNA had to be preserved. The Samarians were already an intermingling of the northern tribe and other nations assimilated in with them by the Assyrians.

Nehemiah 13:23-31

In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab: And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people. And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin. Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives? And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me. Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites. Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business; And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

This is what Ezra and Nehemiah found when they returned after 70 years to the land.

So we have dealt a bit with the good figs and know that they were the first figs picked and they were good figs because they obeyed YHVH and went into captivity to be brought back later.

Why the reference to the naughty evil figs? The understanding of this is twofold. Nebuchadnezzar replaced the true king with a false king. Zedekiah was the puppet king on the throne of Judah and he ruled over the second basket that did not go into captivity – the evil figs. He replaced the true king thus the kingdom was false. During the second day or occurrence of this prophecy the kingdom will also be a false kingdom being replaced by those that are not the true heirs. This is one part of the future prophecy. The reality is that those who say they are Jew but are not have been promoted in this modern age to settle the land and to call it their own in 1948.

The prophecy is twofold, what will happen in Jeremiah’s time and what will happen in a time to come. Just like in Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream the baskets represents a specific number of days.

True Israelites are taken captive out of the land and True Israelites returns to the land by order of a king. The King of kings sent them out and a king, Cyrus, brought them back. It will be a king who will again bring the true remnant back – Yeshua. YHVH’s dealings are with kings.

YHVH tells us what to look for when the true kingdom comes back into the land. First, YHVH tells us how to identify the true inhabitants of the kingdom from the false inhabitants of the false kingdom.

“And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.” This has not happen even today. The people in the land do not know YHVH for if they did they would know His Son. They cannot return to YHVH with their whole heart because they are not of the green olive tree. Most modern day Israelis would tell you to your face they are atheist. They do not believe in YHVH. And the Orthodox and all others do not love YHVH with their whole heart because if they did they would accept His Son. These people are not blind they just are not of the green olive tree. The enemy has planted them in the land just like Nebuchadnezzar planted Zedekiah in Jerusalem on the throne that did not belong to him.

Jeremiah 24:8 tells us clearly that Nebuchadnezzar replaced the true king with Zedekiah. You see the true good figs were removed and what was left was a renegade remnant that refused to go into captivity in Babylon. Hear what YHVH spoke unto them. He tells us that those who are sent out of the land unto the Chaldeans, He will bring again.

Then YHVH said, “And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.” As it was in the first day so shall it be in the second day. Those that are of the false kingdom shall be consumed from off the land.

YHVH is telling us what will happen to those that did not go into captivity. The people remaining in Judah sent Jeremiah to inquire of YHVH on their behalf asking Him whether they should go into Egypt to escape the Babylonians.

Jeremiah 42:7-19

And it came to pass after ten days, that the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah. Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest, And said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him; If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. And I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land. But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God, Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.

YHVH warns the people that remain under Zedekiah, the false king, to remain in the land and He, YHVH, will take care of them. But the people refused to obey YHVH and we know that they went into Egypt and were destroyed. Continue to read Jeremiah 43-44 and see how those people responded to YHVH’s words and what became of them.

Jeremiah 43:1-4

And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words, Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there: But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon. So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.

The issue of Zedekiah is prominent in this story of the two baskets because the second basket of figs is wiped out. The false kingdom is destroyed in Jeremiah’s day and it will be I the next day to come. But this is only the first day which represents the two baskets being interpreted as days.

We see from this passage often used to represent Israel as a fig tree it does not hold water. Israel is only the figs in the baskets.

Another portion of scripture used to state that Israel is a fig tree is Luke 13:6-9

“He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”

The emphasis of this portion of scripture is on the fruit not the tree. Here is a tree that has not produced fruit. After putting so much time into dressing the tree it had no fruit. The man in the parable is looking for fruit and is only concern about the fruit. He has no regard for the tree because he ordered it to be cut down. This fig tree is not Israel as Israel is referred to as a green olive tree and one to be pruned not chopped down.

Romans 11:16-17

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Jeremiah 11:16

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

You see, as a green olive tree Israel is fair and of goodly fruit whose branches of unbelief are broken off.

Romans 11:19-21

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Also John 15 refers to the vine being pruned not chopped down when it does not bear fruit. Israel is the olive tree not the fig tree. Israel and the church are referred to as fruits when it comes to sin and the nature of godly character and virtues.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Matthew 7:16-20

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The emphasis here in these verses is the fruits not the tree. They are known by their fruit not by the tree. “…every good tree” could be any kind of tree which brings forth good fruit. The law is a good tree, the Spirit of YHVH is a good tree, the kingdom of YHVH is a good tree, and marriage could also be a tree and bring forth good fruit. Israel is also a tree and like or as a fig tree can bring forth good or bad fruits. The fig tree is one of the first fruit trees to bloom in the Land and thus Israel is seen as the first fruits of the nations. In the reference to the figs taken into captivity into Babylon we see those figs coming back. The tree was not hewed down. True Israel will return to the land again, the tree shall be hewed down.

Matthew 21:17-19

And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there. Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

The emphasis is placed on Yeshua being hungry and seeking fruit from the fig tree and finding none. We have a fig tree that actually have leaves on it so it is a tree with no production. This can be seen also like the false kingdom that bloom into a nation but produces no fruits as described by the prophets. The focus is the fruit. Israel is a green olive tree and only the branches are broken off. The olive tree is never chopped down nor utterly destroyed.

This story in Matthew 21 is not about Israel but about being hungry. Yeshua also uses this event to teach about having faith when you pray. Imagine the creator of the entire world including this tree and it could not even produce a fruit for its creator when He passed by. Thus it was cursed.

Let’s look at the deeper meaning of these passages already discussed. It is not just about Israel but also about Jerusalem. Look at the great undertaking to rebuild the city of Jerusalem when the captives returned from Babylon. YHVH is not only focused on Israel but also on Jerusalem the city. This beloved city of YHVH is also a sign as to what is to come. When YHVH asks us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem He meant for us to do just that.

Much hinges on the peace of Jerusalem. When Jerusalem is besieged by all the nations in the world we will know that Yeshua’s return is imminent. Praying for the peace of that city means the world continues, but when that city is besieged by the nations of the earth we know the end of this age is nigh upon us. “Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?” (Ecclesiastes 7:17)

We must look to understand what will happen to Jerusalem in order to understand when Israel will be a nation again.

Luke 19:41-44

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Here is a verse used to speak about Jerusalem and the peace of that city. He said that the future things that will occur are hid from the eyes of those at that present time. He is actually speaking about the city of Jerusalem not about Israel the people. Yeshua “wept over it,” the city, not the people of the city. “For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another.”

Yeshua is speaking about Jerusalem in a future time and He states “thy children within thee”, or rather the inhabitants within the city not Israel the people. It means whoever is dwelling within Jerusalem at the time.

Let’s look at the text that follows. Yeshua afterward go to the temple and find people selling their wares and this is what He said. “It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.” He is speaking about the temple being a house of prayer.

So we have Yeshua speaking about both the temple and the city Jerusalem not about the Jews/Israelites. The battle before Yeshua returns is against Jerusalem not Israel. Jerusalem is that great city that the enemy wants to possess. Why?

The enemy wants that city and this is why YHVH tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem not its inhabitants. The true heirs to that land is scattered to the four winds and are kept there for their safety. The peace of Jerusalem has everything to do with the end of days. As long as the peace of Jerusalem is maintained the earth continues.

Yeshua also said, “My house is the house of prayer.” What exactly are we missing here? The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both spoke about the house being YHVH’s house of prayer. Isaiah 56:7, Jeremiah 7:11 and Matthew 21:13 and Mark 11:17 also reiterate this.

Isaiah 56:7

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28 : 19

Jeremiah 7:11

Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

It is not the people Israel that the world is seeking to destroy but rather the house and that city of YHVH which is called by His name or bears His name. It is the ancient act of rebellion as in the days of Satan and Nimrod. Satan wanted to usurp YHVH’s throne and Nimrod wanted to build a tower so high into heaven and to make a name for his self rather than to worship YHVH’s name. (Genesis 11:4) You see the enemies of YHVH want to obliterate His name from the face of the earth since they cannot do it in heaven. It is “this house, which is called by my name” that they want to obliterate or write their names on.

Both the temple and Jerusalem belongs to YHVH and these are both affixed to the earth and so the enemy’s desire is to take them from Him and rule and reign in His stead. In Milton’s book Paradise Lost Satan declares, “Better to rule in hell than serve in heaven.” Lucifer, Satan, the devil, that old serpent and dragon wants to rule and he does not care from where. If he can’t rule one place he will settle for another. “True Israel is a target used to get to YHVH. Pollute Israel the people and they think they will hinder YHVH’s plans. They could not stop Messiah from coming the first time but they are hoping to hinder His return.

“…but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.” This “time of thy visitation” is the day of the second basket mentioned in Jeremiah 42.

What is hid, that second day, the second basket wherein the figs are naughty, evil, so very evil. Yeshua is speaking to Jerusalem that beloved city. “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it.” (Luke 19:41) The reference to “A trench,” is actually a siege that will encompass Jerusalem greater than in the days of Nebuchadnezzar. This is brought about by those nations that come up against Jerusalem in the last days. They will encamp around Jerusalem with the host of their armies and there lay Jerusalem and its inhabitants waste. Scholars do not want to see the actual city of Jerusalem but rather spiritualize it as representing Israel.

In this second day as in the second basket representing another day, it is noted that Zedekiah was a false puppet king over the remnant that remain of Israel. His strings were being pulled by Babylon as it will be in the last days. The false inhabitants of Jerusalem at that time will also have their strings pulled by Babylon, the nations united. Yes, they are being promoted by Babylon and the false church. They are puppets and don’t know it. Their false pride is due to their technology and superior security measures they have in place.

Let us not read into this text that Israel will be a nation again during this time because the text reads “and thy children within thee.” The words convey children of a city, its citizens or inhabitants. Those who dwell in Jerusalem at this time are the children within. Those that currently dwell in the land are not Israelites but settlers from the tribe of Japheth. They are still the children within. Not the children of YHVH but the children of that city.

Unfortunately as the second basket in Jeremiah’s day perished so will those in this second day of events.

The afore cited passages of scripture noted above neither state that Israel is a fig tree and they do not state that Israel will return to the land and be a nation again in 1948.

Another text cited by proponents of modern day Israel being a Biblically mandated nation founded in 1948 is Romans 11:25-26:

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.”

This passage does not speak about Israel becoming a nation again as some purport. This will not happen until the gospel is preached to all Gentiles. Not until after the tribulation period when the 144,000 preach the power of the gospel will the fullness of the Gentiles occur. After this Jerusalem will be under siege and then Messiah will return and rule and reign from Mount Zion. Not until then will Israel be in the land again as a nation. Not until, “There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer.” Israel is not yet saved because their Deliverer has not return to Zion and ungodliness has not been taken away from Jacob. All the ducks is not yet lined up.

Here is another text often used to make claims that Israel became a new nation in 1948.

Isaiah 66:1-13

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

This text is not at all difficult to understand. Anyone who thinks that YHVH needs the temple or Jerusalem to rule on earth is completely mistaken. “The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?.” He is speaking to Israel telling her that He does not need these things. YHVH allowed Solomon to build this house because it was David’s heart to do so. YHVH has no need of these structures.

Israel has done abominable things, polluted what they have dedicated to YHVH. “Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.” What then can Israel offer YHVH that is holy when she has chosen her own way. It is no blessing for Israel or YHVH if she regains the land and yet has not repented.

How will YHVH address this people, “I also will choose their delusions” He states. Israel is blind and do not recognize who she is. She is scattered abroad throughout the nations, naked, oppressed as idolaters and rebellious. Yet in her blindness a remnant will find salvation in Yeshua until He is finally revealed to all at His second coming. Until then all Israel will not believe or recognized who they really are.

Romans 11:5-8

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

In the nations where they are scattered many True Israelites are coming to faith in Yeshua. They have no idea who they are but nonetheless they are accepting the report of the gospel. “…there is a remnant…and the rest were blinded.”

Even though Israel was greatly hated and cast out yet will YHVH take away their shame. But how will YHVH do this? “…she was delivered of a man child,” This man child is the man Yeshua who offer His life for the sins of the entire world. “…or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth?” Yeshua came the first time to bring salvation to the world. This text is speaking about that second day mentioned in Jeremiah 42 which spoke concerning the second coming of Yeshua. And then will a nation be born at once in that day. “…for as soon as Zion travailed,” as soon as Yeshua step foot on Mount Zion and end the battle of the nations He will take up His kingdom on earth and a nation will be born “in that day”. See Zachariah 14. The phrase “in that day” refers to the 1000 year reign of Messiah, a thousand years is as one day to YHVH and all this will occur in that 1000 year reign of Yeshua, “in that day”.

We take for granted so called scholarly interpretations. We accept that what the scholars tells us about the people of the land has to be so because they claim to be Jews, practice Judaism and are now settled in the land thus we believe the lies. Now when it happened that these people entered the land and settled it we seek for scriptures to agree with what has happened.

Never mind reading the entire book of the prophets or the entire chapter we are quoting from and keeping everything in its context. We want to believe that YHVH has orchestrated the events of what is going on in Israel because if we don’t have an answer our Elohim is a liar. Some things will happen that we will not have an answer for until the appointed time. We must stop trying to bend the Bible to fit our distresses, our doubts and our lack of knowledge.

“…for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children,” means exactly that. Once Messiah returns to Zion then, for the second time, Israel will be gathered in. A new nation under Yeshua will be born and True Israel will return to the land. Yeshua will be their King of Kings. Has this happened yet? No!

“Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.” Is there peace yet? NO! When Yeshua returns and the true nation of Israel is born there will be peace not conflict as we see today in the land.

Zachariah 14 tells us what to look for in this new nation, the Gentiles will flow in during the feast of tabernacles to worship Yeshua. Israel will be comforted. This is not the picture of what we see today. We cannot just pluck scripture out and make it what we desire. Some think they are making YHVH look good before the world but He does not need our help. Did He not tell Daniel to shut up the book? It is quite ok to shut up the book until the revelation comes.

In order for Israel to be in the land a new nation under Yeshua all the words of the book must come to pass. Read also Matthew 24, Luke 21, the prophets and the book of Revelation to start with and see that there is a list of many set of events that must occur before the end comes. “…for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6c) We also miss the mark when we do not read Deuteronomy 28 the blessings and the curses to see if Israel is the way YHVH describes them to be. Do this and you cannot miss who True Israel is.

Unfortunately the books “Left Behind” has left the church filled with false teachings. I think of the many commentaries I had to delete because as I wrote I began to realize my train of thought was in error. I could not make the text mean what I felt it meant. Much of what I was writing about in those now deleted commentaries was stuff we have been taught to be true and just accepted them as so. We believe and did not check the work of those who purported certain things because the teachings were mainstream teachings in that church, denomination or filtered down through seminaries.

Even now as I study this topic I see clearly that this doctrine of Israel being a new nations formed in 1948 is not true. We have accepted the false teachings because prominent individuals and institutions have purported it to be so. Let us take a quick look at a familiar portion of Isaiah and see how it reiterates when Israel will be a nation again under their Messiah.

Isaiah 60:1-4

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

These verses are actually a depiction of what the prophet Zachariah spoke of in Zechariah 14 about the battle of the nations that will occur right before Yeshua comes back. Look clearly at Zechariah’s words that reflect the darkening of the sun and the darkness of the hearts of the people. Did not Yeshua ask if upon His return “will faith be found on the earth? Many will read and not understand and so doubt the truth of the word and turn from Yeshua because of wrong interpretations.

Zechariah 14:6-9

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Zechariah is giving us a clear understanding of what to look for and expect when Israel becomes a nation again. Before this occurs the earth will be darkened because something will happen to the sun, moon and stars. There will be some sort of cataclysmic environmental event that will bring on darkness or something supernatural. This is the sign of that coming “in the day.”

Then we see that this sign will usher in the Messiah. He is the living waters that will flow out from Jerusalem. We are also given an indication as to what time of year this will occur. It is during the summer season. Hence we have many references to the fig tree casting its fruits which occurs during the time of the season of the fig tree. This is like the American tradition of seeing if the groundhog cast a shadow which mark how log to the end of the winter season.

The darkness on the earth is a sign of the times that will appear prior to the return of Messiah to be “King over all the earth.” Israel will not rise again as a nation without her King at its helm. Let me repeat, ISRAEL WILL NOT BE A NATION AGAIN WITHOUT MESSIAH AS HER KING.

Everything to happen will occur as prophesied and not out of sequence. The emphasis in many of the follow scriptures are the signs that will indicate when we will be ‘in the day’ and in the season when those prophesied events will be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:29-30

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

This passage tells us the sequence of events which is not different from those events also prophesied by Zechariah concerning the time to come. Immediately after the tribulation the sun will be darkened. This is one of the signs we are to look for which will assure us the time is right. When will the sun be darkened? After the tribulation when the church is greatly persecuted and many lose their lives for the sake of the gospel the sun will darken. The 144,000 will preach the power of the gospel and many will come to faith yet losing their lives because of it.

After all this occurs Messiah will return with power and great glory to rule and reign upon the earth. The nations will be at the gates of Jerusalem and Messiah will end that great battle. In the words of Zechariah, Messiah will be “king over all the earth.” What is the sign that we are in that day? The sun will be darkened. But that is not the only sign given and we will address this in other scriptures.

Joel 2:10

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

So we read here in Joel that the sun and moon will be dark. We know of a surety that something significant will happen to our heavenly bodies. There will be darkness covering the earth. We also know that we can expect a great earthquake and we know from Zachariah that when Yeshua returns there will be an earthquake greater than in the days of Uzziah. (Zechariah 14:5)

Joel 3:15-16

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

How can we not see the order of events? The sign before the coming of Messiah is that darkness covers the earth. Yet it will not prevent Yeshua from returning to establish His kingdom in Zion and Jerusalem will be the place His people will return to. He will gather Israel back from the nations and be their king, He will be “the strength of the children of Israel. “Then shall Jerusalem be holy.” Messiah will never establish a kingdom on earth that is not holy. Isaiah 11:11 tells us that for the second time He will gather Israel. “The LORD will be the hope of his people,” and He will dwell in Zion with His people and not until then.

By the time Yeshua appears in the clouds all the earth will see Him and know Him to be the Son of YHVH. “Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord.” Israel who has been scattered in the nations will finally see their Messiah and they will remember who they are. When YHVH hiss for them to return they will come willingly and they will summit themselves to be ruled by their Messiah, the King of kings. Read the words of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 34:22-26

Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

This is the description of how it will be when Israel returns as a nation in the land when Messiah comes again and not before. They will have one shepherd, one king over them. They will be no elections for prime ministers. Yeshua will continue the reign of the Kingdom established by David. Yes, the head of the new nation of Israel will be Yeshua. YHVH will be their Elohim and they will be no atheist, false religions and no idols in the land as there is today. In this new nation there will be a covenant of peace and not what we are seeing there today. The land will receive its rain in due season. The land will flourish in Israel. We know as stated in Zechariah 14 what will happen to those nations that will not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King of Kings, but in Israel it shall be well.

Zechariah 14:16-18

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

So we see how it will be even for the nations that remain after Yeshua returns. This is the vision of what the earth will be like when Israel becomes a nation again.

Let us look at Isaiah’s words again concerning Israel returning to the land as a nation.

Isaiah 66:7-14

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Proponents of Israel being a new nation formed in 1948 use this text to make that claim. Let us read it in context. It is from the seed of True Israel that the Messiah was born. How will the nation be born at once? Upon Yeshua’s return in that day shall Israel be established again. “In that day” is a reference to 1000 years is as one day to YHVH. Messiah shall reign for 1000 years. All this will occur in that day, within the 1000 years of Yeshua’s reign.

ll Kings 19:3

And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

Hezekiah asked this question of Isaiah the prophet and YHVH gave a response to the prophet, one of victory and total deliverance for Judah. The strength was in YHVH to bring forth because Assyria had besieged Judah and blasphemed the name of YHVH. In one day Judah was saved. The nations in the last days will also besieged Jerusalem and once again YHVH will bring deliverance. YHVH declares that nothing will happen to Jerusalem and for David’s sake the kingdom will continue.

ll Kings 19:34; 20:6c

For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

As in Hezekiah’s day things look bleak as it will also look bleak in the last days. Yet we are assured that YHVH has declared Zion will bring forth again though the travail will be hard and difficult. No matter how much strength is left at the time of birth YHVH will see to it that the remnant “shall yet again take root downward and bear fruit upward.” (ll Kings 19:30b)

Zechariah 14:1-4

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

When Messiah’s feet shall touch down upon the Mount of Olives He shall rule and reign. At once a nation shall be born. “…for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” This did not happen in 1948. All nations have not yet gathered against Jerusalem to battle. Neither has Yeshua’s feet touch down upon the Mount of Olives. Yes, the modern nation of Israel had some conflicts but they do not meet the line upon line of YHVH’s word concerning Israel’s return to the land.

Yeshua will take possession of His city, Jerusalem, which will be the capital of His kingdom. When Israel was last a kingdom they had kings as their heads, and when they return again as a true nation they will have a king once again. The two kingdoms of Israel will be united under Yeshua as the King of kings. We know from Zechariah 14 that other nations will exist on the earth during the 1000 year reign of Messiah and many will come to Jerusalem to worship Him. He will indeed be the King of kings.

We see clearly from these texts that Israel will be a nation “at once” but by the power of Yeshua. The nation of Israel today does not exist as seen in the description given in the Bible. There is no peace, there is no Messiah ruling and reigning over them. As to that time to come that indicates what to look for when Israel is a nation again let us also look at some verses in Acts 2.

Acts 2:16-21

[1] But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Two events are mentioned here in this text. I place numbers in the text to separate the two events. The first event is what Joel prophesied about the coming of the Holy Spirit as Yeshua also made mention of this in Acts 1. He told the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Father. This is what has been reported in Acts 2:1-14 [1], the people were not drunk but filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Just as Joel prophesied, so it did occur. But note that the prophecy was not only about what would happen on the day of Pentecost but also what would happen “in the last days.” So we have in this first portion of Acts 2:16-21, an out pouring which is the fulfillment of the first part of Joel’s prophecy. This second part of Acts 2:19-21 is Joel’s prophecy of what will happen in the last days when Yeshua returns.

Acts 2:19-21

[2] And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Joel is now telling us about the signs to look for when Yeshua returns. These are two different days as seen in the two baskets of Jeremiah 24. The first day in Joel’s prophecy is the coming of the Holy Spirit and the second prophecy is the second day which will be the return of Yeshua.

Joel 2:28-32

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

These are two separate events and the first event has been fulfilled – “… will I pour out my spirit.” So what is the sign of the second event? Our heavenly bodies will not give light to the earth. We shall be in darkness. Something will occur naturally or supernaturally to cause the heavenly bodies to lose their illumination. It is referring to what signs to look for when Yeshua returns.

The signs of the coming of Yeshua have been reiterated throughout the Bible. When Yeshua returns and all the earth sees and knows that He is the Son of Elohim every knee shall bow and confess that He is Lord. And whosoever shall call on the name of Yeshua shall be saved – Jew and Gentile. Yeshua will deliver Mount Zion and Jerusalem from the invasion of the nations and the remnant Yeshua will gather back to the land. When does this all happen.

Matthew 24:29-31

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Yes, immediately after the tribulation and not before. After we see the sign which is the darkening of the earth we know that Yeshua’s imminent return is nigh. After Yeshua appears and the earth is subdued under Him then He will gather Israel from the nations, the four winds. Those settlers that are in the land are not Israel. Israel has yet to be gathered thus there is not presently a nation of Israel dwelling in the land. It is only a false nation. Everything in order just as YHVH spoke.

Matthew 24:32-34

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Such verses are use to purport that Israel is a fig tree. This parable is only an illustration that helps us recognize when these events will occur. “…ye know that summer is nigh,” is the true understanding of this text. When the fig tree shoots out its leaves we know that summer is near. Like the groundhog when it casts a shadow we say there is only six more weeks of winter.

“So likewise” means we can make a comparison with one things and another. This is not saying that Israel is a fig tree and she has put forth leaves as in meaning she became a new nation. What is the meaning of “know that it is near” that this text is speaking about? It is speaking about the summer season, the season we can look to for Yeshua’s return. This is the time we gather in the harvest.

YHVH gave Israel a set of signs to look for so we know when the new month and new year begins. Daniel 7:25 tells us, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

We have indeed lost our YHVH given calendar. But we are given another sign to watch for that will help us recognize the time of Messiah’s return. It shall occur around the beginning of the summer season. Let us get some more clues of this specific sign.

Luke 21:24-33

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Note that none of these sequences deviate from the other. Jerusalem trodden down by the nations, the sun darkened and then we see Yeshua returning. This is backed up with a parable that gives us a natural occurrence so we can understand a spiritual truth. This parable is a similitude of something that will happen. The fig tree and all the trees are not referring to Israel as a nation verses other nations. It is a picture of trees that are an indication of what season we are in. This fig tree as well as certain other trees of those same characteristics is an indication according to the time of their budding forth what season it is.

This is a specific reference to the fig tree because it is one of the first trees to shoot forth its leaves in the land. So we can compare the fig tree which buds in the summer to trees that do not. The focus is on the summer season not the fall or winter or spring seasons. There is no mistake of the time of year or the season. Let’s take a closer look at this fig tree and what else occurs that tells us when the time is.

Revelation 6:12:-17

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Please note again that the events noted here is not out of sequence with other passages cited. YHVH is an Elohim of order. But let us look to the specific verse that states, “even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs”. First, let us determine what can cause a fig tree to cast it figs: lack of water, lack of pollination, disease, weather, etc.

We have noted from the majority of text cited above that the earth will be in a state of darkness. We also know if we read the book of Revelation many devastating events will occur upon the earth: wormwood will make the waters to be foul, bitter, the earth will become parched, there will be drought all over, and the lack of sunlight, darkness covering the entire earth and many will perish beast and man etc. The earth by this time will have gone through much cataclysmic devastation.

Without water, pollination, diseases ravishing the earth and with significant changes in the weather we know how the fig tree might be impacted. It will be difficult to tell time when the earth goes into darkness. But yet we are told that if we watch the fig tree we will yet know by this sign, when it cast its untimely figs that the time is nigh for the return of Messiah.

How do we go from signs about earthly seasons to Israel being depicted as a fig tree? None of the verses being wheedled as indication that Israel became a new nation in 1948 is of a true interpretation.

The Bible is clear when Israel shall return to the land. It is when YHVH hiss for her from out of the nations after Yeshua returns to rule and reign. Israel will not be a nation again until she acknowledges Yeshua as her Messiah, her priest, and her King. Yes, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. The land will be made holy and when the people return they too will be holy in the land.

Noah did prophesy that Japheth will be enlarge and dwell in the tents, meaning accepting the faith of Shem. But Jeremiah 51:27-29 tells us that there is a reason why Japheth’s descendants, Ashchenaz, are in the land. There is a purpose that must be performed against Babylon. Babylon is the united name given to the Gentile nations of the earth that will come against Jerusalem. This is a conglomeration of all the nations.

What do we do about this? Nothing! Not one word shall return to YHVH void; it will do what it sets out to do. Knowing the truth will help the faithful know what to do and how to respond to the events in their times. Knowing this truth should comfort True Israel to remain where YHVH has placed them in order to protect them from the events to come. This does not require action only understanding. YHVH has indeed removed His people from out of the harm’s way.

The Church has promoted this people in the land and raised billions of dollars to protect them. It help them fund their security measures against other nations and have in essence put this false nation of Israel in position to cause the world to come up against Jerusalem. The nation of Israel has the greatest security system in the world. It is fiercely defended by many nations. I keep calling it the nation of Israel because that is the name it has been given yet it is false.

What is it that the enemies of YHVH and His people are really after? I believe they want the land and the city of Jerusalem so they can put their name there. Satan could not rise above the throne of YHVH in heaven so he was thrown out. In the Garden of Eden He tempted Adam and Eve with rebellion and doubt claiming that they could be gods.

We find the fallen angels descending in Genesis 6 and mingling their DNA with the daughters of men and polluting the earth to prevent Messiah’s birth. YHVH rid the world of them and all that they had corrupted. They tried to rule in earth by pretending to be gods. YHVH destroyed those unholy seeds and only Noah and his family were spared.

Then by Genesis 10 we find Nimrod the fourth generation from Noah polluting his DNA to become a might hunter. By Genesis 11 we have the people ruled by Nimrod trying to make a tower “…whose top may reach unto heaven” so they could make a name for themselves. They tried to rule from directly under YHVH’s throne but YHVH destroyed them.

Isaiah 14:12-14

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

You see, they know by now they can’t remove YHVH from His throne so they are willing to rule anywhere they can. They can’t rule in heaven or directly under heaven so now they want to rule in the earth in Jerusalem. Satan tried to tempt Yeshua in the wilderness to give up His Sonship but He would not so he moved the hearts of men to crucified Yeshua.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Now they want YHVH’s holy city, Jerusalem, and His land so they can put their name on it. This is not about oil or the riches of the land. This is about putting their name on what belongs to YHVH.

Remember when Ezekiel was taken into the temple to see how the people had desecrated it? After seeing the idolatrous acts of the people in the temple Ezekiel tells us that the Spirit of YHVH departed from “that house.”

Ezekiel 10:18

Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

The enemy wants YHVH’s throne, His city, His Son, His people, His land, His paradise, His everything.

NOTE: These scriptures have all pointed to the shooting forth of the fig tree and all other trees of that season that tells us when it is summer. This is the sign of Yeshua’s return. We are to look for Messiah to return in the summer season and when the figs shoot forth tells us it has begun. Summer is also the season when the wheat is harvested and the Bible also speaks about the wheat and the tares. The wheat is those that call upon the name of Yeshua, the church. (See Matthew 3:12; 13:25, 29, Luke 3:17; 22:31)The church is on the threshing floor and the winds of time will drive the chaff away.

We do not know the day or hour but we know the season when these things shall be. All these things must come to pass because YHVH cannot do anything with the earth while it is defiled and the people thereof. Yeshua’s kingdom will come at a time when the earth have gone through much spoiling but for a 1000 years it will remain and then the end will come and eternal life.

Isaiah 24:5-6

The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

There is much redundancy in this commentary because twice Microsoft Word crashed while I was writing this. I had to start nearly completely over once and then I had to let the power drain just so the system would be forced to save this document. Forgive the redundancy and errors.

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28 : 19
